Last updated: 14 September 2026
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the website operated by EBAN – The Adobea Foundation (“EBAN”, “the Foundation”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
EBAN is a Ghanaian non-profit organization established to pursue charitable and public-benefit objectives and to contribute to the social and economic development of communities through its programmes, initiatives and activities.
By accessing, browsing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms and Conditions, you should discontinue use of the website.
2. Use of the Website
The EBAN website provides information about the Foundation, including its charitable objectives, programmes, projects, initiatives, events, community activities, educational activities, opportunities for participation, fundraising activities and other related matters.
You agree to use the website only for lawful and legitimate purposes and in a manner that:
- Complies with all applicable laws and regulations;
- Does not infringe the rights, privacy or interests of the Foundation or any other person;
- Does not interfere with or disrupt the operation, security or functionality of the website;
- Does not attempt to gain unauthourized access to the website, its systems or related networks;
- Does not introduce malicious software, viruses or other harmful material; and
- Does not use the website for fraudulent, misleading, unlawful or harmful purposes.
Unauthourized or improper use of the website may result in restriction or termination of access and, where appropriate, legal action.
3. Information and Website Content
The information published on the website is provided primarily to inform users about EBAN, its activities, programmes, initiatives and opportunities for engagement.
Although EBAN endeavours to ensure that information published on the website is accurate and current, we do not guarantee that all information will always be complete, accurate, current or free from errors or omissions.
Information on the website should not be regarded as a guarantee that any particular programme, project, scholarship, assistance, event or other opportunity will be available at all times.
EBAN reserves the right to amend, update, suspend or discontinue any programme, initiative, service, event or opportunity described on the website without prior notice.
4. Applications and Participation in EBAN Programmes
From time to time, the website may provide opportunities to apply for or participate in EBAN programmes, including educational, community-development, scholarship, support, volunteering, training or other charitable initiatives.
Submission of an application, registration or expression of interest does not create an entitlement to receive funding, a scholarship, assistance, employment, volunteer placement, admission to a programme or any other benefit from EBAN.
Applications and participation may be subject to eligibility requirements, assessment procedures, available resources, programme criteria and other conditions determined by the Foundation.
EBAN reserves the right to accept, decline or defer applications in accordance with the applicable programme requirements and its organizational policies.
5. Donations, Sponsorships and Contributions
EBAN may provide opportunities through its website or other authourized channels for individuals, organizations and other stakeholders to make donations, sponsorships or other contributions towards the Foundation's charitable and public-benefit activities.
Donations and contributions are subject to any applicable instructions or conditions communicated at the time of the transaction.
EBAN may decline, return or otherwise deal with a donation or contribution where required or permitted by law or where there are reasonable concerns regarding its source, legality or intended purpose.
Where a donation or contribution is designated for a particular programme or purpose, EBAN will endeavour to apply it in accordance with the stated designation, subject to applicable law and the Foundation's policies.
6. Volunteers and Other Participants
Where EBAN invites individuals to volunteer, participate in events, training, community activities or other Foundation initiatives, participation may be subject to applicable eligibility requirements, registration procedures, codes of conduct, safeguarding requirements and other programme-specific conditions.
Participation in a Foundation activity does not, by itself, create an employment relationship between the participant and EBAN.
EBAN reserves the right to refuse, suspend or terminate participation where a person fails to comply with applicable rules or engages in conduct that may harm the Foundation, its beneficiaries, staff, volunteers or other participants.
7. User Submissions and Contributions
Where the website permits users to submit applications, comments, feedback, photographs, testimonials, documents or other materials, you are responsible for ensuring that the information or material you provide:
- Is accurate and not misleading;
- Does not violate any applicable law;
- Does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy or other rights of another person; and
- Is provided with any consent or authourization required by law.
By submitting material to EBAN, you grant the Foundation permission to receive, review and use that material for the legitimate purpose for which it was submitted, subject to applicable law and EBAN's Privacy Policy.
EBAN reserves the right to remove, reject or decline to publish any submission that it considers unlawful, inappropriate, misleading, offensive, harmful or unrelated to its activities.

9. Photographs, Videos and Publicity

Where personal data, photographs or recordings are collected or used, EBAN will handle them in accordance with applicable data protection requirements and its Privacy Policy.
